Some time ago, pictures of a rosy-cheeked, chubby, and friendly-looking character started to spread. This was Jolly, the mascot of Muse, created by Meta. If one is going to create an AI agent that touches almost every part of a person's life, it better have a kind appearance, otherwise, it might start to feel too scary.
But it seems that the typical user did was not afraid of Meta's new personal agent. Quite the opposite. Muse became the most popular iOS mobile app in the US relatively quickly, reaching 5 million downloads in just 22 days. This is an even faster pace than when ChatGPT was launched, when the 5 million mark was reached in 56 days.
Muse's charm lies in the fact that it is an all-in-one and tireless assistant for various activities. Furthermore, it is relatively cheap or entirely free for smaller volumes. For instance, it can handle everything from shopping and travel planning to everyday organization. Naturally, its capabilities go far beyond that, and the most valuable use cases will vary from person to person.

Despite widespread excitement over Muse, Meta was not the portfolio's top performer. That honor went to AMD (+33% / +€6,641), which continues to grow largely because AI agents like Muse rely heavily on server CPUs, a market where AMD commands a massive ~46% share. Other major contributors in September included Meta (+26% / +€2,784) and Alphabet (+4% / +€1,100). On the downside, the portfolio was most negatively impacted by Celsius Holdings (-11% / -€2,276), Adyen (-16% / -€2,220), and Spotify (-8% / -€1,385). You can explore all my positions in more detail in the Sametist app.
Regarding transactions, in September I sold 26 Adobe shares (at a price of $254) and bought 19 Broadcom (AVGO) shares (at a price of $364). Although Adobe is undervalued based on free cash flow, the problem is slowing growth. Q3 quarterly results showed that Remaining Performance Obligation (RPO) growth was only +8.4% YoY (for comparison, it was still 13.1% in Q2). Broadcom, by contrast, offers strong cash flow visibility over the coming years and trades at a relatively attractive valuation given its outlook. For those interested, my AVGO cash flow model is available here: Broadcom Inc.
