Is Meta's golden age yet to come?
Meta recently agreed to pay approximately $17 billion over 10 years to settle lawsuits surrounding teen social media addiction. However, investors received the news surprisingly well. With initial discussions pointing toward potential fines as high as $1.4 trillion, the actual settlement represented just 1% of the worst-case scenario. This legal resolution has provided clarity, removing a major overhang and boosting Meta’s stock price by securing its future cash flows. But what about the underlying value of Meta’s business model?
